DIY Birthday Card
Here we are again with another special occasion and another attempt on our side to find the perfect gift for it. It’s a first birthday for a very cute and special little girl.
Josh and I were looking for a significant and memorable card; we started looking around for about an hour, on a day with very tight deadlines, until we gave up. We decided to rely once again on our creativity.
We purchased the simple, blank card shown on the pictures down below and started our little DIY “personalize” adventure. Here’s a step-by-step with the materials we used and the finished creative card. It’s the perfect one for a cute little fashionista.
A true success! 😉 What do you think?
Mini shelf Makeover
Josh and I have owned this shelf for a long time. We purchased it from a local market because it was cute and unique, even though it was pretty banged up and scratched. Unfortunately we neglected to take a picture of it in its original state because we wanted to use it right away! So instead of using sandpaper to fix and polish it, Josh and I thought it would be both easier and faster to just paint it the way we wanted it.
It’s served us for a few years in our kitchen, holding our spice jars, but we decided to give it a second makeover with a completely new look to use it in our office instead. Now we love it even more because it works perfectly for everyday living and even better for the winter celebrations. Check it out! 🙂
